![]() ![]() ![]() I'll have to try in other games, but I'm 100% sure that it will now work in any game that runs on the nVidia GPU. ago is this the double cursor with invisible ingame overlay problem RaydenX77 2 mo. Well glad it helped I'll update the post. Now the overlay works in the two games that it previously did not. ago Thanks 1st Fix did it for me, but it won't take effect until your restart your PC. The problem is that this executable, which handles and displays the overlay, does not run on the nVidia GPU by default, and thus for some reason can't display the overlay on top of the game itself. Right click Desktop -> Display settings -> Graphics settings -> Add "NVIDIA Share.exe" from the previous folder -> Set it to High performance. Note: If you wish to use GeForce Experience SHARE again, switch the SHARE toggle back to on. Mine is in here: "C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GeForce Experience\NVIDIA Share.exe" 1) From the GeForce Experience app, click the Settings icon on the top right corner: 2) From the General panel, toggle the SHARE setting to off as shown in the screenshot below. Before it was always working even after restart. ![]() Open up GeFroce Experience, enable overlay and after few seconds it should work deleted 5 yr. Close GeFroce Experience Open Task manager Find and kill all process with THIS icon. It may not work for you, but atleast give it try. Solution:įind your "NVIDIA Share.exe" location. ingame overlay setting keeps turning off once i turn my PC on, therefore instant replay won't work if i don't turn on the IN-GAME OVERLAY setting before that. ago Well I've tried some things and i found solution for me. FPS counter is now working inside games, but ingame overlay still does not show, only the game cursor switches to windows cursor.Įdit: I fucking found out just now. I had to downgrade to GF Experience 3.21. On my laptop the FPS counter also did not show up in any game. Restart your PC and your issue should be fixed.Have you found a fix since then? I have the same problem. Apparently, you have to search for graphics settings in windows settings and then browse "Nvidia Share" (usually in the Nvidia GeForce experience folder) and then click on options and choose the high performance option that usually uses the Nvidia GPU. It seems other users have been having this problem tooĮDIT: The issue has been fixed for me. But for the last month I am facing this same problem again. Whenever I set the instant replay option to 'on' it will display in the top right that it has been turned on, then almost immediately that it. However, when I switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11, it worked for a few days. The in game overlay will no longer record anything at all as of a few days ago despite there not having been an update since long before that. I have tried uninstalling through different methods multiple times (Nvidia Uninstaller, DDU) and it did not work. I can only move freely but can't use any of those options because they are not visible. Also, when I press Alt+F2 to open Nvidia Ansel, it switches to free cam and I can move the camera around but none of the options (like filter, FOV, etc) are visible. When I intentionally take it to upper right corner and click, it closes which means I am pressing the "Cross" button.īut inside a game, these options are not visible. When I press Alt+Z to open it while playing a game, a cursor appears on screen but none of the options are visible. Ever since I updated to Windows 10 20H2 and beyond (Currently I am on Windows 11), my Geforce Overlay has stopped appearing in games. ![]()
